Beware of Royal Crest Apartments - Looks Nice, But Zero Integrity The staff at Royal Crest Apartments in Warwick are friendly and helpful, but sadly, they work for a management company that has no integrity. We had a bird's nest in our closet during our lease that was never addressed, even after reporting it. When we moved out, they hit us with unjustified damage and cleaning fees--including repainting and fixture charges for things we didn't break--and then withheld part of our $ deposit without cause. No inspection reports were provided, and their charges violate both the lease and Rhode Island rental law, which clearly protects tenants from charges for normal wear and tear. The employees deserve better leadership. As it stands, this place looks nice but is run by a company that takes advantage of tenants on the way out. Look elsewhere. Royal Crest please do not waste the time to respond on here, we would prefer you respond to our unanswered written requests confirming receipt and resolution of our issues.
