I would most definitely not recommend living here. Our apartment was 88 degrees in the winter because we did not have control over our our heat. Furthermore, we were not able to use the windows in our apartment because the air conditioning units were bolted in. They ask that you leave the apartment in the condition that […]

Let me just say the views and sunsets here are amazing..However, has to be the most stressful and poorly managed place I have ever lived in.. Management is TERRIBLE and need to be replaced or drastically reformed .. no customer service mindset and no efforts to improve, all the way up to the area VP.. as an example .. t […]

We loved the building when we first moved in. After all, it is a beautiful building. But the more full the building became -and as we approached the end of our lease - my tune had changed completely. 1. The wine bar and restaurant still isn't open and when we first looked at the building, it was mentioned it would likel […]

Never move to this complex, they charge too much for the poor service they provide, however you do not have a private washing machine and dryer, it is shared and they are always damaged and when they work they steal your money they leave your clothes in the middle of the washing cycle, and you have to leave with your clo […]

We moved here about 4 months ago and everything was going really good up until the point where someone broke into my boyfriends car and stole his $2,000 dollar drone ON THANKSGIVING!! The only thing this place did was have security come up and let us know the car was broken into, but other than that you're really on your […]

We've had 3 different apartments now. The shower handles do not work. You can't open 3 of the doors because they are designed to be too close to the fridge. They are now charging $85 per month to have a mail box with them.... I thought that was illegal to hold someone elses mail guess not. Just a beautiful way for them […]

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The management here is simply atrocious. They are unresponsive and unhelpful. You will only spend time feeling frustrated while dealing with Chestnut Hall. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. DO NOT try your luck here, it is simply not worth it.

Don't let the fancy name and buttered up amenities fool you, this is a terrible place to live. The complex is old, over priced and over run with spiders and insects. It is a corporate run (aimco) complex so good luck every talk to anyone over the phone. Unless you literally burst through the door at the complex office, y […]

We applied for a townhome in May2022 and according to them, we were "denied based on credit". They had reports saying our credit report was 579 when in fact our scores were well over 650. All you need to get in the complex is a 600. We sent them reports from experian to show them what they had was wrong and was told they […]

In the midst of the corona epidemic this company/ building doesn't give a shit about you as a tenant. They have just closed down all amenities and no one to see at the leasing office. INSTEAD THEY ARE GIVING TENANTS PENALTIES FOR TECHNICAL ERRORS. I received a phone call today from corporate where she didn't even present […]

I was actually in the process of signing a lease with this property, believing that it would be a good deal despite the awful comments. Fortunately at the very last second before signing the lease I learned that the job offer I received had multiple locations and that I would actually be at a location that was about 30-4 […]

AC Wall of Shame

It’s a tale as old as time: the cavernous divide between the extravagance of the elite and the struggles of the everyday individual. AIR Communities board and executive members, with their opulent lifestyles and towering wealth, might project an image of success. However, beneath the gilded façade is a far more unsettling narrative. The countless tenants of their properties, those who truly understand the real cost of their empire, paint a far grimmer picture. Pest invasions, hidden charges, and rude staff behavior are but a few of the many agonies residents are subjected to. It’s apparent that the gleaming offices where decisions are made remain untouched by the sound of rattling pipes or the frustrations of misquoted utility bills. Yet, as the board members celebrate their financial triumphs, a poignant truth rings out: prosperity, when gained at the cost of humanity and basic decency, is no triumph at all. In a world where value is often gauged by material gain, let us remember that the well-being of people should always be paramount. Profit is not everything; integrity, compassion, and genuine care are the true measures of success.  Air Communities Wall of Shame
