Pest invasions, hidden charges, and rude staff behavior are but a few of the many agonies residents are subjected to. It’s apparent that the gleaming offices where decisions are made remain untouched by the sound of rattling pipes or the frustrations of misquoted utility bills. Yet, as the board members celebrate their financial triumphs, a poignant truth rings out: prosperity, when gained at the cost of humanity and basic decency, is no triumph at all.
