I would give this apartment building zero stars if I could. Our unit required a significant amount of maintenance as soon as we moved in and was not in good shape. The heating and cooling has been completely unreliable for the 2 years we lived here. We have a young child and it was not safe for us to live here anymore without access to a reliable HVAC unit. An overly warm environment is a major risk factor for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). The Avana has opened in the complex and there is now nightly honking, loud music, and yelling from the traffic backing up due to their valet and the restaurant itself. Management is not helpful when problems are brought up. Fire exits are frequently blocked and rain causes stairs in the north tower garage stairwell to become treacherous. The railing in the north tower garage stairwell was frequently broken during our stay here making the stairs even more dangerous. We pay quite a bit for the Luxer package service but have frequent issues with packages going missing. Our stroller was mistakenly returned to sender because the package room was overflowing and it got put in the returns section. I have lived in city apartments for the past 10 years and have never encountered so many issues nor such a callous management team. An email sent to residents when the AC was out for the entire complex suggested that we refrain from using ovens and stoves, eat cold meals, and use cool/damp cloths in order to keep ourselves cool instead of providing an estimate of when the AC would be fixed. Management provided a mailing address instead of an email address for all responses. All apartment complexes have their issues but this has truly been a miserable experience.
