If you're thinking about moving into Island Club Apartments, stop right now and look somewhere else. I have never experienced a more unprofessional, disgusting, and frustrating place to live in my entire life. This place is an absolute joke -- except no one's laughing, because it's your money and your sanity on the line. Let's start with the noise. The walls are paper-thin, and your neighbors will make sure you know it. Loud music at all hours, stomping, shouting, parties -- it's constant. You can forget about ever having a quiet night. Even worse, the management does NOTHING about it. I filed multiple complaints, and every time I was ignored or brushed off. They pretend to care, but they never follow through. You're left to deal with it yourself while they collect rent and do nothing. Now onto the mold. Yes -- actual, visible mold growing in the apartment. It's disgusting and dangerous. I reported it more than once, and every single time, I was met with empty promises: "We'll send someone," "We'll take care of it," "It's scheduled." Weeks passed. Then months. No one ever came. They straight-up lied to my face, over and over again. Meanwhile, I'm breathing in toxic air and trying to keep my place livable. Management is completely incompetent and shockingly rude. They don't answer the phone, they don't return emails, and if you go to the office in person, you're treated like an inconvenience. The staff acts like you're the problem for needing basic repairs or asking for answers. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and honestly just don't seem to care about the people living here. It's not just poor customer service -- it's blatant disrespect. But nothing compares to the move-out scam. When I finally escaped this nightmare, I was hit with an outrageously high move-out bill. They charged for things that were already damaged when I moved in, things that were normal wear and tear, and even for professional cleaning when I had already left the unit spotless. It felt completely fraudulent -- like they just make up charges hoping you won't fight it. It's shady, unethical, and absolutely unacceptable. I'm still considering legal action. They reel you in with decent-looking pictures and a fake sense of professionalism, but once you're locked in, you're stuck in a nightmare. Moldy units, sleepless nights, broken promises, rude staff, and a move-out bill that'll leave you stunned. It's all part of the trap. Bottom line: Island Club Apartments is a health hazard, a money trap, and a complete failure of property management. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the stress, the health risks, and the financial loss -- run far, far away.
